Attributes #1

My name is Sekhmet and I am the Goddess of  vengeance, and war. I also go by Sakhmet and Sekhet. I have a head of a lion and the body of a woman; and I am usually dressed in red, although sometimes i may be seen in white.  I am the daughter of Ra and I am the eye of the sun. You may have heard of Hathor before. She is my other half....literally. We are of the same skin and soul, although we are quite different when it comes to personalities. I am very vicious and aggressive; i'm actually known for dancing on blood. I actually almost nearly destroyed the whole human race before I was tricked into stopping.

  2. Like Hathor, we also have many similarities. We both take the form of a feline, I was previously the Egyptian goddess of war, we are both daughters of Ra, and considered the eye of the sun. We are both fiery and vengeful, and we both are often depicted holding the "Eye of God." -Bast

  3. Ra sent you to do what I can not think of doing! You almost killed the human race Sekhmet!!! What would have happened to me if that had taken place? I would not be able to spread love, joy, music. No woman would experience motherhood, no child to be born. It was good you were tricked... It was for the good of the people and us as well. - Hathor

    1. Ah Hathor, you never cease to amaze me with your constant rambling and complaining. It is simply in my nature to be this way. I just have one thing to say: If Ra hadn't wanted my punishment to be so...severe, he shouldn't have asked me, the goddess of war for Heaven's sake, to do the job.

  4. Please explain your relationship with Hathor in more detail. Do you enjoy each other's company? Also, what is the origin of the moon on your head? Is it the same moon that we see in the sky?

    1. When it comes to Hathor, we have a complicated relationship. We usually tend to fight over the body we both possess, but there are instances where we get along quite peacefully. When it comes to battles and wars, Hathor gladly transforms into me for I know how to handle such things. But when it comes to children and music, I happily let Hathor take over for I have no knowledge of such things. And as for the "moon" on my head, it is really a sun because I am the Eye of Ra or the Eye of the Sun.
