Three Cultural References
For many years I have been culturally referenced many times. What can I say? I'm very popular among the people. In the first photo is a granite statue of me. This lovely statue is found in the British Museum in Bloomsbury, London. Before it was transported there, it was found in Thebes, Egypt. It is said to be from around 1350 B.C. Man, I didn't think I was that old. In the photo beneath that exquisite statue is a temple dedicated to me. It is found in Indiana Springs, Nevada. It was built and devoted to me in 1993 by Genevieve Vaughn. The last item on this list is actually my favorite. There happens to be a heavy metal band from the Czech Republic named after me; how sweet. I happen to quite enjoy their music (although I can't understand much of it).

I really like your last photo. That is quite the honor to be on King Tut's tomb.

ReplyDeleteThe contemporary author Margaret Atwood wrote a fantastic poem about you. http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/sekhmet-the-lion-headed-goddess-of-war/
